The Galway Lions Club will celebrate a major milestone this week as the annual radio auction celebrates its 21st year.
The fundraiser, which is now an established part of the Galway Christmas calendar, will be broadcast live on air during the Keith Finnegan Show.
It will take place between 9am and 1pm from The Ardilaun hotel, with Mayor Declan McDonnell on hand to get the bids rolling in.

Last year, proceeds from the auction run in association with Galway Bay FM helped more than 700 people across the city to enjoy a better Christmas.
Galway Lions Club president Yvonne Thornton hopes that this year will be even better.
