Seamount wins schools showjumping

•It was a win for Seamount College in the recent Inter-Schools Showjumping Competition held at Claremorris Equestrian Centre.

The team consisting of Rachel Mullins, Emily Butcher, Sarah Mullins and Ellen McCrossan, under the guidance of Niamh Greaney, finished both rounds without a single error on a Zero Score.

Hotly on their heels, however, and lying in a close second place was the Glenamaddy team of Katie Devlin, Kaysha Murray, Kelly Divilly and Lena Divilly who finished on a total of eight faults.

Dylan Burke, Athenry Vocational School denied Seamount College the double when he took the individual honours ahead of Sarah Mullins, Seamount who had to settle for second.
