THE CRANE Bar will host a double album launch from musicians Claire Keville and Kathleen Loughnane on Saturday at 6.30pm.
Claire has just released her new album The Daisy Field and Kathleen has released The Harpers Connellan. Both women will play tracks from the albums as the gig.
The Daisy Field features Claire on concertina and harpsichord with guest musicians Liam Lewis and Breda Keville (fiddles ), Geraldine Cotter (piano ), and Terence O’Reilly (guitar ). The CD has strong ties to the repertoire of Paddy Fahey, Tommy Coen, and Paddy Kelly.
The Harpers Connellan features Irish music of the late 17th century.
