Oranmore in days gone by will be the subject of a talk which is due to take place in Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop, Oranmore, on Wednesday December 9 at 6.30pm.
The talk will be given by Kay Davis and it will be based on her book Oranmore In Days Of Yore. The book compiles articles written by local people and ranges from the late 19th century to today. Ms Davis has also included her own memories and experiences of the town. Also included are illustrated photographs.
