The annual Christmas Fair in An Spidéal takes place this Sunday in Colaiste Chonnacht from 12 noon.
There will be more than 30 stands selling a variety of hand-made goods, ranging from candles, wooden puzzles, cards, cosmetics, soaps, knitted/crochet goods, jewellery, women’s fashion accessories, musical instruments, art works, pottery, iron, craftwork, home produced food stuffs, and seasonal goods.
This year two locally based publishing companies which specialise in Irish books and CDs for children will have stands at the fair.
Santa will also be there and children can give him letters in person and have their photo taken with him. There will be a raffle as well as tea, coffee, and cakes.
The event is being organised by Scoil Einne and the local community development committee.
