The Dream Weddings Exhibition is back for the seventh year at Leisureland, Salthill, on Saturday and Sunday January 9 and 10.
Featuring over 60 exhibitors the two-day event promises to be even better than before with a number of wedding experts on hand.
Each day will be topped off with three bridal fashion shows featuring top models from the Catwalk Modelling Agency.
One lucky couple will walk away with €1,000 in prizes for their dream wedding by entering the free competition at the to day show.
Choosing the perfect wedding gown is usually top of the bride to be’s list when planning her dream wedding.
“With three fashion shows each day showcasing the latest bridal gowns, bridesmaids and flower girls dresses, brides will find everything needed to create the perfect look,” say the organisers. “Boulger Bridal, Marians of Boyle and Galway, Mozarina Bridal, Dinagh Modes Bridal and Belladonna Bridal will be showcasing the latest bridal collections for next season. Total Look will also be exhibiting the latest collection of hats and headpieces.
“The future groom will also be inspired with a special collection of groomswear from Corless Formal Wear, William Irwin and Sons Formal Wear and Fallons for Men featuring a mix of contemporary, classical, traditional and unusual options.
Getting to the church on time may be a choice between a classic carriage or stretch limo, so Galway Limo Company and Costello Limousine, Vintage Cars and Bus Hire will make sure the couple get royal treatment.”
Choosing the ideal venue to celebrate your wedding day with friends and family takes planning, whether it’s a traditional large wedding or a more intimate family event. Experts will be on hand from many hotels including the Claregalway Hotel, Ard Ri Hotel, Lisloughry Lodge Hotel, Lady Gregory Hotel, Galway Bay and Hodson Bay Hotel, Clayton Hotel and Connemara Coast Hotel.
Cutting the cake traditionally plays a central role at the end of the main course. O’Hehirs Bakery and Lillies and Pearls Wedding Cakes will offer expert advice on choosing the cake, timing the order and advise on new trends and styles.
The exhibition will be open from noon to 6pm daily and tickets will be available at the door.
