TOM MIDDLETON, the pioneering producer and DJ, renowned worldwide for his visionary projects as Global Communication, Jedi knights, Cosmos, and Amba is coming to Galway.
Classically trained in piano and cello Tom understands music’s essential rudiments and theory. It’s this adept understanding of the true technicalities of music - how it works, how arrangements compliment each other - that has helped him carve a unique career.
To this day he refuses to sample other people’s music, preferring instead to create his own sounds using virtual orchestra and band software he has programmed himself.
Tom has worked with Ulrich Schnaus and Aphex Twin and DJed alongside Duran Duran, Mark Ronson, and Faithless.
Tom Middleton plays Kelly’s, Bridge Street, on Friday November 27. Admission is €5 before 12 midnight and €8 after. Tickets are available on the door only.
