Established just this year by computer and network specialist Evan Doherty, Creative IT made its debut store opening on November 14. The business stocks cost effective PCs, laptops, and peripherals as well as providing many services such as computer repairs and upgrades to homes, schools, and businesses nationwide.
Services offered for homes include computer repairs and upgrades, anti-virus solutions, internet security solutions, broadband installations, and CCTV (with remote viewing ). Creative IT also sells computers and computer parts for home use, and provides for printer repairs and sales.
And if you can’t make it into town, Creative IT offers a free collection service to all houses, schools and businesses in the Mullingar area.

Before Creative IT opened for business, Evan trained as a certified computer systems specialist in Ashfield Computer Training, Templeogue, Co Dublin where he obtained industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, and A+. Subsequently he spent five years working for IT companies in both Ireland and Australia, where he implemented and maintained computer systems for businesses. After leaving Australia, the young professional returned to Ireland and settled in Mullingar.
After coming up with the idea for a new computer solutions company, Evan put together a business plan and a profile of Mullingar and the midlands region. After only six months, this fast-growing business has secured maintenance agreements with four local businesses and one school as well as providing an honest and reliable computer repairs service to domestic computer users.
