FÍBÍN TEO, the Indreabhán based theatre based company which has thrilled schoolchildren with its exciting brand of puppetry, visuals, and performance, will tour its show An Triail this month.
As part of its nationwide tour, An Triail will be performed in Seanscoil Sailearna, Indreabhán, this Monday and Tuesday and in Druid Theatre, Chapel Lane, from Wednesday to next Friday.
An Triail was first performed in 1964 but Fíbín are promising a version of the play as its never been seen before.
Bringing a seemingly outdated plot into the context of our modern society, Fíbín seeks to address issues highlighted by both teachers and students. Difficulties in relating to the characters as the drama unfolds, comprehending the confinements of 1950s Ireland, and seeing beyond the black and white nature of dialogue are all dealt with in this snappy production.
