Paul Reynolds to address NUIG Law Society

RTÉ crime correspondent Paul Reynolds will address a public meeting in NUIG next week where he will look at the issue of organised crime in modern Ireland.

The meeting takes place in the Cairnes Theatre next Wednesday at 8pm and is being organised by the NUI Galway Law Society. Mr Reynolds will be discussing the problems of organised crime, giving his own insights and opinions, and answering questions from the audience.

Mr Reynolds reports on all aspects of crime and the criminal justice system. He joined RTÉ in 1991 and has become one of the most respected Irish journalists in the country. In June 2009 he won the Political and Current Affairs Journalist of the Year from the Irish National Media Awards.

He has written two books; King Scum - the Life and Times of Toni Felloni which is about the heroin trade in Ireland, and Sex in the City which details the underworld prostitution industry.
