Japanese ambassador to visit Galway City Museum

The Japanese Ambassador to Ireland will stop in for a special visit to Galway City Museum tomorrow at 10am to see Irish children participating in the ancient Japanese art of origami.

The origami workshop is the brainchild of Wa Café owner and Japanese native Yoshimi Hayakawa, and is the second such event of its kind in the museum. The event will be free of charge and is open to all Galway children, though the museum advises that a booking should be made in advance to ensure a place.

To book a place and meet the Japanese Ambassador call 091 - 532460.
