Cupán tae agus Gaeilge ag Lohans

Are you interested in improving or using your Gaeilge more? Lohans, winner of the coveted Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh Award 2008, will launch its conversation circle evenings on Monday November 2 at 8pm. All are welcome to attend this free evening to start the Ciorcal Comhrá, which will run every Monday.

Lohans invites people to go along on Monday nights to converse as Gaeilge in casual relaxed surroundings with like-minded people at this new initiative in Lohans. Practise conversational Irish, play a few games, order a bite to eat or a drink, and break the ice using your Gaeilge. Order a cupán tae as Gaeilge, and you’ll get it for free on the night.

Participants in the Ciorcal Comhrá will be encouraged to use Irish in both the restaurant and bar. Games conducted in Irish could be part of the activities, and people will find themselves in small, intimate, groups for most of the evening, so that everyone in the group will feel encouraged to speak.

Your level of Irish is irrelevant, as more fluent speakers will be there to help and encourage shy Irish speakers them to express themselves.
