A haunting in Galway

TRISTAN IS broken hearted and intends to leap to his doom from the Wolfe Tone Bridge into the River Corrib, but just before he jumps he meets the mysterious Ghostwriter.

Ghostwriter opens Tristan’s eyes to the age old struggle between ghosts and witches which sees Tristan become caught up in a race against evil forces to find a mysterious woman in the water. His own fate, and that of the world, depend upon it.

This is Mary Finnegan’s Wake, a comedy-horror, written and directed by Alex Perry and produced by Maria Anastacia Keogh, which will be performed by Croi Productions in the Town Hall Studio from Wednesday October 28 to Friday 30 at 8.30pm.

The play is inspired by Joyces’ Finnegan’s Wake. It is set on Halloween night in contemporary Galway with flashbacks to medieval Galway. It stars Neringa Katiliute, Brendan Gilmartin, Tina Hannon, Sinead Bracken, Siobhan Molloy, Mike O’Connor, Pete Ryan, Alan Keogh, George Percival, Ciara Griffin, and Joanne Kavanagh.
