Conradh Na Gaeilge is running an Irish language course to help people preparing for the Irish Language element of the interview for the graduation diploma in education (primary teaching ).
Hibernia College is holding interviews for its post graduate diplomas leading to a qualification in primary school teaching in mid-November. Prospective students must demonstrate competency in spoken Irish.
A weekend intensive Irish language course will take place in Conradh Na Gaeilge, 45 Sráid Doiminic, on Friday November 6 and Saturday 7. These classes are specifically designed to refresh a speaker’s Irish and give the confidence and conversation skills the interview requires. A mock interview will also be held at the end of the course.
Classes take place from 7pm to 9pm on Friday 6 and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 7 with a break for lunch. The full cost of the course is €100. As class sizes are limited, early registration is advisable.
