North Beach Nights

THE WRITERS Celeste Auge, Maureen Gallagher, Gerry Hanberry, and Hugo Kelly will read at North Beach Nights in The Crane Bar, Sea Road, on Monday at 9pm.

Gerry Hanberry published his third collection At Grattan Road with Salmon Poetry in 2009. In 2004 he was awarded the Brendan Kennelly/Sunday Tribune Poetry Prize. He teaches creative writing in NUI, Galway. This month he won the Eyre Square Poetry Prize.

Celeste Auge published her first full collection of poetry, The Essential Guide to Flight, this year and has also been shortlisted for a Hennessy Literary Award.

Maureen Gallagher published her first collection Calling The Tune with Wordsonthestreet in 2008. Her work has been anthologised in Van Gogh’s Ear, Divas, and Anthology 1. Hugo Kelly is a fiction writer. He will read his short story Traffic Lights which won this year’s Brian Moore Short Story Award.
