The Association of Nigerians in Galway will hold an intercultural event to celebrate the Nigerian Independence Day.
The event takes place on Saturday October 10 at 4pm in The Clybaun Hotel, Knocknacarra. The special guests will be the Mayor of Galway Cllr Declan McDonnell, the Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland, and a former mayor of Portlaoise, who is from Nigeria.
The event will feature a dinner, dancing, and an awards ceremony to recognise the positive contributions some individuals and organisations have made to the effective integration of Nigerians in Galway.
