Citylink offers cheapest ever fares to Dublin

Citylink, the provider of express coach travel throughout Ireland, is set to launch the lowest ever single ticket fare, on its new non-stop service between Galway and Dublin.

The new non-stop service between the two cities will be introduced on Thursday October 1, and the new super singles ticket will allow Citylink passengers to travel the 217KM journey for a staggering €1 euro, eclipsing their previously lowest price of €5.

The super singles ticket will be available seven days a week but must be bought in advance, through Citylink’s on-line sales reservation service.

Tickets will be made available in limited numbers, so it is essential that travellers book their tickets early in order to secure.

Cathy Cullen, managing director of Citylink said: “Our new direct non-stop service will give passengers the opportunity to travel on board Citylink’s brand new, luxury fleet of coaches.

Also thanks to the Government’s continued investment in the national motorway programme the journey between Galway, the fastest growing city in the Republic of Ireland, and Dublin, can now be made in 2 hours 45 minutes, saving passengers an extra half an hour, and allowing plenty of time to enjoy the delights of both cities.With 28 journeys a day, on Citylink's brand new non-stop’service, passengers will be spoilt for choice on when to travel.
