Clarenbridge Lifestyle and Garden Centre will host a composting demonstration this Saturday. The event, organised in association with the Galway County Council and Clarenbridge Tidy Towns committee, follows a previous very successful composting event at the centre.
Have you ever wondered how to compost food waste? If you have failed in the past do you wonder why? The demonstration will be presented at 12 noon and 2pm this Saturday by Mark Molloy from the environmental section of the Galway County Council.
The demonstration will show the best ways to compost, how to solve potential problems in relation to composting, and the best methods to use to convert your organic kitchen and garden waste to compost for the garden. A discount will be available on all composting materials purchased on the day as well as free information leaflets.
The demonstration is free but spaces are limited. Contact the team at Clarenbridge Lifestyle and Garden Centre to reserve a place.
