The Co-op, a new bar, restaurant, and live music venue, has opened in Moycullen in a building which has been restored by the Heneghan family, whose previous projects include The Bridge Mills and The Budding Café.
The venue’s décor is a well balanced mixture of antique, modern and ethnic pieces. On the ground level there are numerous plush leather sofas to lounge on, while the mezzanine above provides a studio-like dining space, flooded with natural light, when the kitchen opens in a few weeks.
At night the music starts early and finishes late with bar extensions on Friday and Saturday nights, and dancing is encouraged. The venue is also open for Christmas parties. For bookings call 087 - 6997833.
