Holistic health seminar

Dr Donn Brennan will return to Galway this Saturday to give a one day seminar entitled Preventing Illness and Restoring Health with Ayurveda, the world’s most ancient system of natural healthcare.

Dr Brennan is a registered GP and an internationally renowned speaker on natural medicine. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the field of natural healthcare and has consulted with thousands of people all over Ireland and Europe. More than 100 people attended an evening lecture he gave in Galway last June and this day course presents an opportunity to go more in depth into this great healthcare system.

Ayurveda, meaning “knowledge of life”, is one of the most ancient and complete systems of natural health care. Since 1967 it has been fully recognised and supported by the World Health Organisation.

The day course will cover many topics including understanding your body type, how to enhance digestion, detox strategies, use of food and herbs for better health, and appropriate daily health routines.

The purpose of this course is to give you practical advice that you can implement straight away to help improve and maintain good health.

Dr Shraddha Jarikote BAMS will give this course along with Dr Brennan. Dr Shradha is an Ayurvedic doctor from India who is now living in Galway. As well as completing her six-year degree course in Ayurveda, she has worked alongside Dr Brennan in the Dublin Ayurveda Centre.

Dr Jarikote now provides health consultations, Ayurvedic treatments, and cookery courses in Galway.
