Volunteers are needed to help two community organisations in Gort and Ballinasloe tomorrow (Friday ) as part of “Give It A Swirl Day” – Ireland’s national day of volunteering.
Gort Family Resource is looking for people between 10am and 2pm to help with a small and simple garden makeover. This will involve painting a wall and erecting two or three trellises. All necessary equipment will be provided.
D’Cube Youth Centre in Ballinasloe needs people from11am to1pm and/or 2pm to 4pm to help to give their centre a general clean and touch-up with paint. There is also a small amount of garden work to be done including planting flowers and shrubs.
