The Galway Camera Club’s 2009/2010 season opens tonight with a cheese and wine reception in the White Room in the GMIT Campus, Cluain Mhuire, Wellpark.
On the night committee members will be showing samples of their images and those interested in becoming new members are welcome to attend.
The club caters for all levels of proficiency from beginners to professional photographers. Classes for beginners begin on Thursday September 17 in the White Room.
Throughout the season professional photographers will display and talk about their work. There will also be a talk by the Garda forensic team and a club weekend away in May.
