Galway Aga Shop to showcase centenary collection of handmade La Cornue cookers

The Aga Shop Galway in the Liosban Retail Park launches the 100th anniversary collection of La Cornue elegant kitchen range cookers in the west of Ireland with an open day on Saturday July 26.

The prestigious family company has produced generation after generation of truly elegant kitchen range cookers that integrate technological innovations with truly elegant design. Albert Dupuy produced the first gas circulation meat and pastry cooker.

In 100 years, La Cornue has never compromised on its manufacturing technique – today the Chateau and Cornuchef cookers are still handmade to order by highly skilled craftsmen just outside Paris.

At the Galway open day, food demonstrator Karen Finnerty will be holding cookery demonstrations throughout the day.

Liam Kehoe, Aga Shop manager at the shop in Centrepoint, said that is a great honour to feature La Cornue in the Galway Aga shop. “La Cornue is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and we are proud to finally bring this world renowned brand to the West of Ireland,” she said There will be spot prizes, cookware discounts, and much more on the day.
