Leisureland had adorned the Prom since the ‘70s.
It offers affordable prices and excellent fitness facilities, with rates unchanged for eight years.
It has something for all ages and fitness levels in this excellent, award winning facility.
Leisureland has gym memberships including three, six, and 12 month options as well as monthly specials. There are a variety of pay as you go options which are easy on your pocket. There are also special reduced rates for unemployed, over 65s, students, and people with disabilities.
Aquafit classes take place four times a week for as little as €5.50 per class, essentially an aerobics class in the water, which gives a great workout without putting pressure on your joints. There is also a range of adult swimming lessons to suit everyone. Leisureland runs pay as you go adult lessons in the morning and also blocks of six/seven week lessons all year, with one starting next week. There are also one-to-one lessons on offer, or simply pay in to splash about for €7 for adults and discounted sessions daily for €4.80. For regular swimmers, enjoy unlimited swimming for one month for just €40, €30 for over 65s and people who are unemployed.
There is also a range of fitness classes guaranteed to get your pulses racing, including total body workout, boxercise, and tums, bums and thighs.
Leisureland has seen many improvements and refurbishments over the years, the most recent of which is a wonderful new restaurant, BB’s Coffee & Muffins. The Irish chain produces a range of delicious, freshly baked produce daily. There is also a great soft toy play area to bring toddlers after the parent and toddler session in the pool, so it’s a great place to meet other parents over a yummy coffee.
