Cope seeks information on public’s attitude to homelessness in Galway

Cope Galway is calling on the public to take part in its online Public’s Perceptions of Homelessness in Galway survey.

Cope is conducting this survey in order to gain a greater understanding of the public’s perceptions of homelessness.

“We are asking people to tell us who they believe a typical homeless person is, what they believe are the causes of homelessness and what they think should be done to address homelessness,” said Cope’s Fintan Maher. “By gaining a greater understanding of people’s perceptions of the issues of homelessness we can use this to work together to build a stronger community.”

To participate in the survey log onto www.copegalway.ie and click on the survey link on the homepage.

The surveys is part of Cope Galway’s Reach Out Campaign, a first step in working with the people of Galway to target the causes of isolation in the community.
