Paul McLoone takes over GIGANTIC

PAUL MCLOONE will take over the decks at GIGANTIC for what promises to be a cracking night of indie, rock ‘n’ roll and all and anything with a beat.

Derry-born Mcloone might be better known as the lead singer of The Undertones but from Monday to Thursday he puts his music credentials to even better use since he took over the 7pm to 10pm slot from Tom Dunne on Today FM.

If cutting edge new alternative music blended with modern classics and album tracks is your cup of tea, then go to GIGANTIC this Saturday night and check him out. No previous musical knowledge is assumed or necessary, but if you like some of what’s in today’s charts then prepare to discover that there is a whole lot more like that out there.

Since taking to the airwaves last September, Mc loone has created a show that bridges the gap between those with a casual interest in great music and those who, like him, are passionate about it.

Admission on the night is €10 with doors at 10pm, and Olive and Tom starting behind the decks. For more details check out www.gigantic.ie
