Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in the month, a family service is held in one of the churches within the Aughrim group of parishes. As there are five Sundays in August the Church of Ireland at Ardrahan will take its turn by hosting the family service on Sunday August 30 at 11am. These are family oriented with young people encouraged to perform songs and readings, with the rest of the congregation joining in. Following the service all are invited to bring their own picnic to Coole Park. All are invited to attend.
