International rugby star Denis Hickie will be quizmaster for the night in the Cellar Bar, Galway on Wednesday,September 2 at a fundraising table quiz for GenYES Galway, the 18-30 group that is saying ‘Yes’ to Lisbon.
Generation YES Chair of the Galway group, Cillian Fleming, promises that the questions will not just be about the EU.
“This is a fun event that anyone can take part in. No knowledge of the Lisbon Treaty or the EU is required” says Flemming.
Spot prizes include rugby memorabilia autographed by Denis Hickie and members of the Irish team past and present, books signed by Seamus Heaney, and more.

GenYES Galway will be campaigning on and off campus in the weeks leading up to the referendum, to make sure that young voters have the information they need on the Lisbon Treaty. Earlier this month they held an information session on Lisbon in light of the new deal and on Friday, September 4 they will be joining a Brussels-based cycle group that are touring Ireland on bicycle in support of the Treaty.
