The Galway Filipino Irish Community will offer a memorial Mass for the late former President Corazon Aquino of the Philippines, known to Filipinos as Tita Cory, on August 16 in the Abbey Church, at 3.30pm.
The mass for Mrs Aquino will be a tribute to the sacrifices she made for a nation she held dearly.
A Book of Condolences will be displayed in loving memory at the mass.
