To mark its 7th birthday this month, GHR Consulting announced the seven lucky winners of their €3,500 Community Sponsorship Fund.
Over the past seven years, GHR Consulting has been proud to provide expert HR advice, training, and recruitment support to businesses across Galway and the West of Ireland. To celebrate reaching this incredible milestone, they wanted to give back to the local communities that have supported them since day one by supporting youth development and grassroots sports.
Each of the seven winning youth teams will receive a €500 sponsorship package to assist with essential costs, whether for new kits, training equipment, tournament fees, or team activities. The winners are:
Elaine Ryan – East Galway Celtics (U7s Mixed Team )
Sinead Grant – West United (U12s Team )
Leanne Coyne – Milltown LGFA (Minors Team )
Thelma Gilmore – Tuam-Cortoon LGFA (U12s Team )
Emma Lambe – Corrib Rangers (U13s Girls Team )
Bernie Brady – Glen Celtic (U14s Falcons Girls Team )
Declan Smyth – Athenry FC (U12s B Team )
Speaking on the initiative, Ruairi Guckian, Managing Director of GHR Consulting, says: “Reaching our 7th milestone is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we felt there was no better way to celebrate our birthday than by giving back to the Galway communities that have supported us. €500 can make a big difference for a local team needing new jerseys, gear, or tournament fees, and we hope this fund helps these young players thrive.”
