Yoga without the poses?

Hosted by Galway Comedy Festival, two Laughter Yoga workshops led by Louise Burchall will be held in Massimo on Sunday, October 25.

As part of the Gaillimh Ah-Boo celebrations, Laughter Yoga will connect audiences through a practice combining deep breathing with laughter exercises to get people giggling - and feeling good together.

There are no traditional yoga poses, and no special clothes, level of fitness, or previous experience are required.

There are no jokes to learn. All that is needed is for participants to be willing to get silly together. “Laughter is the shortest distance between two people,” says Burchill, a qualified Laughter Yoga Leader with 13 years' experience.

“When combined with deep breathing, it becomes a powerful tool for health, happiness, and connection."

One session, for children and families will be at 12pm, and another at 1.30pm for over 16s.
