M Fitzgeralds getting into the Halloween spirit

Galway’s M. Fitzgerald’s is getting into the Halloween spirit, transforming the popular city centre venue into a spooky autumn destination, with spectacular seasonal decorations creating a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere for visitors.

Following the phenomenal response to last year’s Christmas transformation, which saw M. Fitzgerald’s become a magical Winter Wonderland, the team is once again pulling out all the stops, this time with a Halloween twist.

Last Christmas, visitors flocked from across Galway and beyond to experience the stunning festive decorations, soak up the atmosphere and capture photographs of the beautifully transformed venue.

The Winter Wonderland quickly became a talking point across the city, establishing M. Fitzgerald’s as a must-visit destination during the festive season. While preparations are already underway for an even bigger and better Christmas display this year, the team has decided that there is no reason to wait until December to bring a little seasonal magic to Galway.

Instead, M. Fitzgerald’s has embraced the darker side of the season, with Halloween decorations transforming the popular bar into the perfect spot for an autumn afternoon, evening drinks or a catch-up with friends.

Alan Broderick, Manager of M. Fitzgerald’s, is delighted to see the venue embracing the Halloween season.”Last Christmas was absolutely incredible for us. The reaction to our Winter Wonderland decorations was beyond anything we could have imagined. We had people travelling from all over to see the displays, take photographs and enjoy the atmosphere, and it really created something special here in the heart of Galway.

“This year, we wanted to bring some of that same excitement to Halloween. It’s such a fun time of year, and we have a fantastic space to get creative with. We’ve really embraced the spooky season, and we’re looking forward to welcoming people in to experience something a little different.”One of the things we love about M. Fitzgerald’s is creating an atmosphere that people want to be part of,” he said.

“Whether you’re dropping in for a drink after work, meeting friends at the weekend or visiting Galway for a few days, we want people to walk through the doors and feel that there’s something special happening.”

“The Halloween transformation also offers a taste of what’s to come later in the year, with plans already taking shape for an even more spectacular Christmas display. With its welcoming atmosphere, striking seasonal displays and central Galway location, M. Fitzgerald’s is the ideal destination to enjoy the autumn season.Whether you’re a Halloween enthusiast or simply looking for somewhere atmospheric to enjoy a drink, M. Fitzgerald’s is ready to welcome you for a spooktacular October,” he concluded.
