Rusheen Physiotherapy is very proud to open the first dedicated physiotherapy clinic in Knocknacarra, Galway. Rusheen Physiotherapy was founded in late 2025 by Galway native Helen McLoughlin. She is specialised in both musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pelvic health physiotherapy. Helen spent fourteen years working in the UK and Ireland honing her skillset.
The clinic offers services from a range of team specialisms, which includes chronic pain management and sports rehabilitation. They are now delighted to welcome a second pelvic health physiotherapist to the team and have recently expanded their service to offer postnatal classes. Rusheen Physiotherapy additionally offers dedicated small-sized matwork pilates classes, at both beginner and intermediate levels.
The ethos of the clinic is to strive for excellence of care with high quality treatments and an individualised approach. They aim to provide a welcoming and accessible setting for all of their clients.
Since opening, the team has been gratified to see an excellent support from locals supporting the business and have seen a steady growth in uptake from people coming from all areas of Galway. They are delighted by the response, and plan to continue growing the service in coming months and years. The team has had consistent positive feedback on the excellent level of service, the convenience of the location and the availability of parking right outside the door.
