Taking place at the newly opened Satellite Projects & Studios on Fr Griffin Place, folús will add to Galway’s growing visual arts scene, bringing together a diverse group of artists and writers for an exhibition centred on the histories, mythologies and possible futures embedded in landscape.
The work featured will be by both Irish and London-based artists, including Healy, Dowling, Oli James, Kitty Chesher, Natasha Botelho Cook, Kate Butler, Ciara King, Ciara CH, Jack Ó Meara, Aoife Ní Dhuinn, and Blaise Gilburd.
The programme includes an opening night, an artist talk and exhibition tour, and an evening of readings as part of Culture Night on Friday, September 18, from 6pm to midnight.
The exhibition will launch on Wednesday, September 16 from 6-8pm, and will be open Thursday and Saturday from 10am to 6pm at Satellite Projects and Studios, Father Griffin Place, Galway, H91 Y628.
