Emirates currently operates a double-daily service from Dublin to Dubai, with the Dublin schedule featuring both the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A350.

Emirates is continuing to invest heavily in its Premium Economy product, with the airline now introducing what it describes as the world’s first electrically powered Premium Economy seat, featuring a full-height adjustable privacy screen between every seat.
Debuting on newly delivered Airbus A350 aircraft, the new seat combines innovative technology with enhanced comfort, giving passengers greater control over their personal space. While the new seat is not yet available on services from Dublin, it is being introduced on a number of routes from Dubai.
“Emirates is currently the only ‘one-stop’ carrier offering a Premium Economy service on this scale, and it is great to see them enhancing the experience even further,” says Maura Fahy.
“With airfares increasing across the board, flying Business Class is beyond the reach of many passengers. Premium Economy, however, is a wonderful way to travel if you want to enjoy that extra level of comfort without the cost of Business Class.”
The fully powered seat allows passengers to adjust their preferred seating position using an integrated Passenger Control Unit, with dedicated lounge and meal modes. Comfort is further enhanced by Safran Seats’ U-Dream leather headrest, an electrically deployable leather leg rest and a cradle-style recline designed to minimise intrusion into the space of the passenger behind.
For the first time in Premium Economy, Emirates is also introducing wireless charging, alongside USB-C power and tray tables featuring integrated phone holders.
Passengers can enjoy the airline’s award-winning ice inflight entertainment system on a 13.3-inch 4K HDR touchscreen, while Airbus A350 customers can also benefit from enhanced exterior camera views.
The Premium Economy experience extends beyond the seat, with gourmet, regionally inspired dining served on Royal Doulton fine china, premium beverages and a selection of acclaimed wines. On long-haul flights, customers also receive reusable amenity kits created in partnership with United for Wildlife, featuring Aveda skincare products and sustainable materials.
Since its launch in 2022, Emirates Premium Economy has received multiple international awards recognising its comfort, service and elevated passenger experience.
