Standún will celebrate 80 years in business in An Spidéal this September with a special in-store event showcasing Irish fashion, design and craftsmanship.

Taking place on Saturday, September 12, from 12 noon to 5pm, the anniversary celebration will highlight Standún’s longstanding commitment to supporting Irish designers, makers and independent brands.

As part of the event, seven members of the Council of Irish Fashion Designers will present their latest collections in store, giving customers an opportunity to meet the designers and discover their work first-hand.

Featured designers will include Caroline Duffy, Siobhan Daly Designs, Emily Jean Atelier, LANDA, Jack Murphy, Monessa Joan and Jafur, with collections offering a beautifully curated selection of fashion and accessories for the new season.

The celebrations will also include a special Meet the Makers experience, with a number of Irish brands and craftspeople in store throughout the day, including VOYA, Sharlene Kemple Design, Dara Mats, C Beauty, and more.

Customers can also look forward to 20 per cent off on the day, along with canapés, bubbles, treats and goodie bags for the first 30 customers attending the event.

The anniversary marks an important milestone for Standún, celebrating eight decades at the heart of the Spiddal community while continuing to champion Irish design, creativity and craftsmanship.
