Robert Harris, acclaimed British author and former journalist, will be in Galway on September 18 as part of his book tour celebrating his new thriller, Agrippa.
He will be interviewed by broadcaster Ryan Tubridy at the Black Box Theatre at an event hosted by Kennys Bookshop.
Harris, best known for his political and historical thrillers, is the bestselling author of over sixteen novels, nine of which have been adapted for film and TV.
In Agrippa, he returns to ancient Rome, where general and statesman Agrippa begins work on his memoirs.
From his meetings with Julius Caesar, through the epic conflict with Mark Antony and Cleopatra and the endless wars to expand the empire, Agrippa is forced to confront how Emperor Augustus has dominated his life.
Agrippa will be published on August 27.
