Sidekick, a bold new all-day dining concept centred on wing-led comfort food, sharing plates and standout cocktails, has opened at The Dean Docklands in Dublin and The Dean Galway.
Designed as a vibrant social destination from lunch through to late-night dining, Sidekick brings together big flavours, inventive drinks and an energetic atmosphere, creating a go-to spot where casual catchups, after-work drinks and memorable nights out come naturally.
Built around a menu of signature chicken wings, smash burgers, and loaded plates, Sidekick draws on American BBQ traditions with a contemporary edit. The menu champions big flavours, quality ingredients and dishes designed for sharing. Wings are offered in Buffalo, Spicy BBQ or Gochujang glazes, alongside BBQ pork ribs, loaded brisket waffle fries, hot dogs and brisket buns.
Lighter options include a Cobb salad and a superfood salad, with desserts spanning a chocolate and hazelnut brownie, strawberry cheesecake and a pecan and honeycomb sundae.
Signature dishes include the Double Down Smash Burger with cheddar, pickles and burger relish; the Sidechick Burger, breaded chicken served on a pretzel bun with chipotle ranch slaw and yuzu pickles; crispy fried haddock; a 10oz striploin steaks and Sharing Meat Platters loaded with BBQ ribs, brisket, crispy chicken and all the sides.
The drink list runs from frozen serves, like Frozen Hot Chick and Frosé, to signature serves including the Hot Honey Marg, Dirty Irish Sidecar, Uppercut Paloma and Watermelon Southside, complemented by house-made non-alcoholic sodas, citrus iced teas and sharing cocktails including the Knockout Punch and After Party Iced Tea.
More than just a place to eat, Sidekick has been created as a lively social destination with great music and atmosphere at the heart of the space. Opening celebrations will feature live DJs, giveaways and immersive launch moments, while a year-round calendar of limited-edition menu specials, events and partnerships will give guests plenty of reasons to come back.
