Theatre juggernauts THISISPOPBABY and cabaret star Emer Dineen return to Galway for one night only, next Tuesday, June 23, at the Town Hall Theatre.

Their heartfelt theatre show, 0800-CUPID is a nightlife gatecrash that brings raucous cabaret and musical extravaganza back to the Irish stage. Its producers say 0800 Cupid is an “emergency response to the swelling social anxiety of a post-pandemic, pre-apocalyptic world, and a camp catalyst for reconnection".

Dineen is a talented writer, house music vocalist and actor. In 2024 she teamed up with award-winning playwright and director Phillip McMahon to create this form-busting, epic and unforgettable musical odyssey, exploring a couple of very strange years in her life.

Audiences have described 0800 Cupid as “incredible, unmissable, riotous, good fun” together with streams of five-star reviews. Dineen's electrifying show charts a musical march of a young woman’s existential brink.

0800 Cupid is a genre-defying queer, countercultural opus that fizzes between performance and reality. The show will pluck those heartstrings and offer the best live music on stage, for a terrific night at the theatre.
