As part of its ongoing expansion plans, IKEA has this week announced a plan to open a Plan and Order Point in Galway, its largest Plan and Order Point in Ireland.
Located in the Gateway Retail Park, the Galway Plan and Order Point is a smaller store designed to provide customers with bespoke kitchen, bedroom and storage planning services.
At these locations, customers can access in-depth home furnishing advice and expertise to assist them in planning, purchasing, and installing their ideal kitchens, bedroom and living room storage.
In addition to planning services, customers can browse and purchase from a curated range of around 250 home furnishing accessories, available for immediate takeaway.
This unique offering, alongside a larger Click & Collect area and a self-serve section for flat-pack bestsellers, allows customers to walk away with items on the same day or conveniently pick up online orders. The store will also serve as an in-store returns location.
Once open, customers will be able to book an appointment at IKEA.ie, or drop in to the store, to start their design with one of the IKEA design specialists.
