A Tuam woman who, the local district court heard, had abandoned her car outside the town’s post office for four days was fined when her case came before Judge James Faughnan.
Winnie Ward, 21 Parkmore Drive, Tuam, was also charged with not having the car taxed.
Tuam District Court heard that the Gardaí had to have the car towed away.
The defendant had a previous conviction for parking in a disabled parking bay.
Judge Faughnan imposed €700 in fines.
