Twenty-six dancers from Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork will combine at the Town Hall Theatre on Friday, May 15, to explore femininity through the art of Heels dance.
Embody is one of the first of its kind in Ireland - a full-scale production dedicated entirely to dancing in high heels.
Under the creative direction of Angela Didek, dancers will unite to celebrate the fluid strength and raw, magnetic energy of the feminine spirit through bold and provocative artistry.
“High heel dance have become a massive trend across the country over the last couple of years, not just as a fashion statement, but as a huge movement for female empowerment and community. This show is a celebration of that,” says Didek.
“It’s an all-female cast, and we’ve moved away from traditional labels to focus on the provocative artistry of the dance itself, and we have some brilliant guest performers joining us.”
