Residents in Ballybane will have two upcoming opportunities to engage with local services and community activities at the Ballybane Community Hub over the coming weeks.
A Garda clinic is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 29, from 11am to 12pm. The session will be hosted by local Community Garda Kenneth Boyle, who will be available to assist with signing forms, offering crime prevention advice, and taking reports. Members of the public are encouraged to drop in and speak directly with Garda Boyle.
In addition, the hub will host a cookery demonstration on Holy Thursday, April 2, at 7pm, showcasing ideas for the perfect Good Friday meal. Renowned chef Maria McNeela will lead the demonstration, preparing a freshly fried fish dish in a light, crispy batter, served with golden wedges, homemade mushy peas, and tangy tartar sauce. Attendees will also enjoy tastings accompanied by tea or coffee.
The community hub is conveniently located beside Ballybane Library, with parking available nearby.
