Chanelle Pharma, a global pharmaceutical leader in human and animal health, has announced a strategic partnership with SAP to implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud (private edition ) and SAP Business AI.
This initiative represents a major investment in building a modern, scalable digital foundation designed to accelerate time-to-market for innovative medicines, elevate operational visibility, and proactively enhance data governance.vCurrently exporting to over 90 countries with expansive operations across Ireland, the UK, Portugal, and Jordan, Chanelle Pharma is positioned for continued international growth.
To support this ambitious trajectory, the company is modernising its end-to-end operational value chain.By establishing a robust digital core, Chanelle Pharma will meet higher expectations for GxP regulatory compliance while modernising core finance, manufacturing and supply chain processes.Delivered as a single-phase programme, with a targeted go-live of late 2026, the transformation is being delivered jointly by Tenthpin and KaarTech.
The implementation strategy is strategically sequenced. Chanelle Pharma will deploy SAP’s ERP platform first to establish a “clean core” leveraging SAP best practices, immediately paving the way for the integration of advanced SAP Business AI capabilities. The transformation will leverage Tenthpin’s sophisticated SAP Signavio processes, which are uniquely optimised for Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations (CDMOs ), ensuring a seamless, high-velocity implementation that maximises strategic value.
Aiden Dempsey, CIO, Chanelle Pharma, said this strategic partnership with SAP marks a pivotal moment in our growth trajectory. SAP S/4HANA Cloud and Business AI give us the competitive advantage to pioneer the future of the pharmaceutical industry while maintaining the highest standards of GxP compliance.”
Ray Joyce, Head of Ireland, SAP UK&I, said that pharmaceutical organisations are operating in an increasingly complex environment, where regulation, supply chains and demand can all shift quickly.
“SAP’s Cloud ERP strengthens organisational resilience and governance processes and provides data insights from across the business. This empowers Chanelle Pharma to operate with agility and remain competitive in a highly regulated global market.”
