Fianna Fáil TD for Galway West, John Connolly, will host an Information Session on the SEAI Grants available to constituents who may be interested in applying to upgrade their homes to make them more energy efficient.
The SEAI Grants are funded by the Government, they provide grants research and expert advice to households and communities across the country to reduce energy use and carbon emissions.The Information Session will take place un the Westside Resource Centre from 12pm until 2pm tomorrow Friday March 13 2026.
The purpose of the event is to provide constituents with clear information on the new SEAI Grants and the supports available for home energy upgrades.A representative from The Claddagh Credit Union will also be present to outline loan options for those who may wish to finance energy?upgrade works.
Speaking ahead of the event, Deputy Connolly said SEAI Grants are critical in making energy upgrades to homes affordable, whilst reducing emissions and energy use.
“The SEAI Grants are becoming more popular, and I feel it would be beneficial to have this session for constituents so that any assistance they may need in applying for the grant they can get that assistance at this session.
