Údarás na Gaeltachta is once again offering an exceptional opportunity for graduates through its GAIRM scheme. This two-year training contract provides professional experience combined with a Postgraduate Diploma (Level 9 ) from Atlantic Technological University.
Open to graduates with diverse qualifications, GAIRM offers successful applicants hands-on experience across various departments within Údarás na Gaeltachta. Participants can choose to be based in any of the organisation's regional offices: na Forbacha (Galway ), Gaoth Dobhair (Donegal ), Béal an Mhuirthead (Mayo ), Daingean Uí Chúis (Kerry ), or Baile Mhic Íre (Cork ).
The programme includes valuable management experience, insight into Gaeltacht businesses trading nationally and internationally, and involvement in social enterprise and community development projects. The specially designed postgraduate diploma covers strategic development, high-performance team management, financial management, governance and ethics, project management, communication skills, and sustainable development principles.
This training contract comes with a salary and is open to applicants with fluent Irish who have achieved or expect to achieve an NFQI Level 8 degree.
