Datavant, the data collaboration platform trusted for healthcare, is hiring at pace in Galway, with a range of roles currently open. The company is particularly seeking Software Engineers at all levels, Product Managers, Infrastructure Engineers and UX Designers.

Datavant is the world leader in secure, compliant healthcare data exchange and employs more than 10,000 people globally. The company’s mission is to make the world’s health data secure, accessible and actionable.

Datavant Ireland was launched in Galway in spring 2025. Local tech and business leader Deirdre Giblin was appointed Vice President, Global Technology Operations and Site Lead for Datavant Ireland, alongside Ciaran O’Toole as Vice President of Engineering.

After nine months, Datavant Ireland has surpassed its initial hiring goals, with 60 of the 125 planned roles for 2027 already filled. The company also plans to further expand its local footprint in 2026.

The team will soon be headquartered in a new 15,000 square foot office at the Bonham Quay campus, overlooking the waterfront. An official opening is planned for spring 2026.

Datavant Ireland has also launched a new series of free tech talks in Galway called Unplugged. The events are designed to spark conversation and share insights within the local and wider tech community. The first Unplugged event, held in early December, was a major success, with a second event planned for early March.
