Atlantic Technological University (ATU ) is inviting prospective students to explore its wide range of postgraduate opportunities, with applications open this February for courses starting in September 2026.
ATU offers industry-aligned courses designed to meet the evolving needs of industry and society. The university's growing portfolio spans a range of disciplines, including business, design, education, social science, engineering, computing, science and health, providing learners with opportunities to upskill, specialise, and advance their careers.
Postgraduate study is a powerful investment in a student's future. Regardless of background, goals or learning style, ATU offers learning pathways designed to support individual ambitions. Whether students are seeking to progress in their current role, pursue a personal interest, or move in a new direction, ATU provides guidance throughout the learning journey, ensuring students have every opportunity to reach their full potential.
Learners can choose to study full-time on-campus or part-time over a longer duration, helping them to balance work and study commitments. In addition to flexible study durations, ATU offers blended and online options across many courses. A blended course combines online and in-person learning experiences, while fully online courses are often taught in the evenings and provide a peer support network of like-minded professionals.
Sharing her experience of studying a postgraduate course online and how this progressed her career, graduate Margaret Kelly said, “Studying online has been a unique and rewarding experience, allowing me to structure my learning around work and family commitments, which made it manageable. Career progression was a key motivation for returning to study, having worked with the care of the elderly since completing my undergraduate degree in general nursing. It was here that I was encouraged to pursue my passion for further learning and specialise in palliative and end-of-life care. Following completion of my master's degree, I progressed to a role as a clinical nurse specialist in the community.”
ATU invites you to register your interest in one of its upcoming Virtual Information Sessions, where you can meet the team, get advice on your application, learn about funding options and have your questions answered. Visit atu.ie/masters for more information.
