DNG Leonard & Heaslip estate agents has announced three strategic new appointments as the firm prepares for what is shaping up to be one of its busiest years in recent times across new homes, residential sales and lettings. The additions reflect both the continued growth of the Galway property market and the company’s commitment to strengthening its service offering with local expertise and fresh perspectives.

The first appointment sees Eva Casserly join the residential sales team, with a specific emphasis on new homes and second-hand residential sales. DNG Leonard & Heaslip is set to bring a number of significant new developments to the market in 2026, including schemes in Rosshill, Athenry and Letteragh, making Ms Casserly’s experience particularly timely.

A Galway city native, Eva returns west after spending 10 years in Dublin with BidX1, where she built a strong reputation working across residential property sales and auctions. Her time in the capital has given her a broad understanding of market dynamics, buyer behaviour and pricing trends, while her local roots ensure a deep knowledge of Galway and its surrounding areas.

“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining DNG Leonard & Heaslip at such an exciting time for the business,” she said of her appointment. “After a decade working in a fast paced and evolving Dublin market this feels like the perfect next step for me. Galway has always been home for me, and the opportunity to return and work in a market I know so well within such a knowledgeable and experienced team is very exciting. With the level of new home developments coming on stream alongside strong demand for second-hand properties, it’s a fantastic time to be involved in residential sales.”

Also joining the team is Roisin Dockry, who takes on a business support role within the firm. Another Galway native, Roisin brings a background in property design, adding an important layer of insight to the operational side of the business. Her experience supports both the sales, valuations and lettings teams, ensuring smooth transactions and a high level of service for clients.

Ms Dockry’s design background is expected to be a valuable asset, particularly as buyers and landlords place increasing emphasis on presentation, layout and long-term functionality. “DNG Leonard & Heaslip have a strong reputation in Galway, and I’m thrilled to be part of a well-established company that places such importance on quality and professionalism,” she said.

“I have a strong interest in property in Galway and love the opportunity to network and engage with people across the industry. My background in property design gives me a real appreciation for how homes work for people, and I’m excited to bring that perspective into a business support role with such a respected local firm.”

The third appointment sees Roisin Byrne join DNG Leonard & Heaslip as marketing executive. A graduate and masters student of University of Galway, Ms Byrne has spent time working in the retail sector, where she gained hands-on experience in branding, customer engagement and digital marketing. Her role will focus on promoting residential sales, lettings and new home developments across multiple platforms, ensuring the firm continues to connect effectively with buyers, sellers and landlords.

“What really excites me about marketing in property is the opportunity to tell the story behind each home and the lifestyle it represents,” she said of her new role. “Every property offers a new creative outlook, which keeps the work fresh and engaging. I’m really looking forward to working with the team to showcase Galway properties in a creative and authentic way.”

With demand remaining strong across the Galway market and several new developments due to launch, these appointments underline DNG Leonard & Heaslip’s proactive approach to growth.

Commenting on the new appointments, Mairead Leonard, managing director of DNG Leonard & Heaslip said: “We’re absolutely thrilled by these new appointments, who will complement our strong existing team. By investing in experienced professionals with strong local ties, we believe we are well positioned to meet the challenges and opportunities of the year ahead. We’ve seen consistent growth in all key divisions of our business so these appointments will allow us continue delivering a high standard of service to all our clients.”
