The thumping beats of Kíla will pound from Monroe’s main stage on Wednesday, December 31, to ring in 2026.
This seven-piece Irish World music phenomenon will lead the celebrations, delivering their trademark fiery folk-rock with a global twist.
Kíla combine Irish tradition and language with a vibrant mix of international influences.
Their performances are an explosion of djembe, congas, brass and bass with whistles, fiddles, Uilleann pipes and bodhráns to create a joyful and exhilarating experience.
With roots in Gaelic heritage, they bring together traditional, classical, and rock elements into free-spirited compositions.
Formed in the late 1980s, Kíla has earned their place as one of Ireland’s most innovative bands, making their mark in film and television soundtracks. From their Emmy-nominated score for Ireland’s Wild River to their collaborations on Oscar-nominated animations such as The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea, Kíla’s versatility is endless.
Each performance is a celebration of life and music, leaving a lasting echo that resonates with audiences long after the final note.
This New Year’s Eve, Monroe’s Live offers the perfect setting to ring in 2026 with Kíla’s energetic rhythms.
Meanwhile, in the Backstage Venue, DJ Flako will keep the party going with his ‘Flashback’ set, featuring the best anthems, throwbacks, and classic hits to keep everyone dancing well into 2026.
